Beware the Bilderbergers!

Many people believe the Bilderberg Group, an annual confab of international poohbahs, secretly runs the New World Order along with—I don't know—the Freemasons, the Illuminati, Skull and Bones, the Bohemian Club, the Rothschilds, Lord Black of Colemanprison, and so on.

I fall more into the camp of those who believe our present crop of luminaries can't even manage the Current World Disorder.

Still, for those who like to follow the doings of the Bilderbergers, the 2008 meeting is underway right now in Chantilly, Virginia. Chantilly is, of course, the home of these ultrasecret guys, but I'm sure that's purely a coincidence. In fact, the only spooks that seem to be on the invitation list this time around are LTG Keith B. Alexander, Director of the National Security Agency, and our own John Adams (bio), Chief of the Communications Security Establishment Canada! That's a first for a CSE Chief (and for a DIRNSA) as far as I know.

Presumably these two are among the best positioned in the world to know whether their illustrious co-participants say the same things behind closed doors as they say behind these particular closed doors. Oh, to be a bug on the wall.
