Transparency fail III
Canadian Press reporter Jim Bronskill covers CSE's recent transparency fails -- and reveals that CSE will also not be publishing an annual report:
Jim Bronskill, "Secretive eavesdropping agency gets a little quieter," Globe and Mail, 25 July 2012
CSE spokesthing Christine Callahan responds with the claim that CSE has actually "enhanced" its public reporting.
The only thing I can say in response to that is at least one thing about the agency is becoming increasingly transparent: the bullsh!t emanating from their public affairs staff.
I'd very much like to trust that CSE will never abuse its growing powers.
But how do you trust people who tell bald-faced lies?
